Dapper Young Man- January 28, 2013

To celebrate our last day of being in the teens (well at least for a little while), Thomas got Will got all dressed up in his little bow tie. It's hard to believe that he will be 20 days old tomorrow-- time is just flying! He's a pretty handsome little boy, don't you think?

Scrub-a-dub-dub: First Bath

William's cord finally fell off last night which meant today we could give him his first real bath! And guess what....he loved it! His dad was very happy that he liked the water-- he can't wait to take him swimming and just knows he is going to love the water.

William's First Weeks Home

William joined our family 2 weeks ago now! Time is flying already. It seems like everyday he changes. We can't seem to get enough snuggling or take enough pictures. Here are some pictures from his first couple of weeks at home.

Going Home-- January 11, 2013

We got to bring William home on January 11, 2013. His sister, Ginger, was so happy to meet him. She wasn't sure what to think of his cry at first and was a little worried that we might leave her for a couple of days, but she has settled in and the two of them are quickly becoming best buds. I just know Ginger can hardly wait for William to be dropping little snacks all over the floor for her.

On the Day You Were Born-- January 9, 2013

On January 8, 2013 I had a doctors appointment and had scheduled to be induced on Friday morning. Thomas had been saying all along that I wasn't going to go into labor until we'd scheduled the induction because I always have to have a "plan" (he knows me pretty well I guess).  Wouldn't you know that on Tuesday night (January 8...the same day as my doctors appointment) I began having contractions around 11:45 PM and went to the hospital around 2:00 AM on January 9th. William Scott joined our family at 9:21 AM that morning. He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20.75 inches long. We are so happy to have him in our arms everyday and thought that we would create this blog to share our ventures through this new thing called parenthood. (Plus we figured that our family that lives farther away might like to see photos and videos as Will continues to grow and change everyday.)
