William starts Pre-K

Today William had his first day of preschool. He was so brave. He reports that he made one friend (a boy, but he doesn't know his name), they got 5 recesses today, and his favorite part was marbles (a marble run). He can't wait to go back tomorrow!

Happy 7 years!

Thomas and I are celebrating our seventh wedding anniversary today. Yesterday my mom watched the boys while we went for a drive and explored the mountains (escaping the 100° weather here in Umatilla). It was so nice to spend the whole day with each other. I am so blessed to have Thomas to share this life with. He is such an amazing dad, but just as equally a great husband. So grateful that he decided to pursue me in our physics class 13 years ago.

 No trip to the mountains would be complete in my Pilot without changing a tire. 

The Beach

We spent Friday-Monday at the beach celebrating one year of marriage for David and Casey. The boys loved the beach and had so much fun. They got to take a bath beach side, played in the sand, flew their kite, and found two love rocks at D River, had fun at Marine Hatfield Science Center, went crabbing on the public pier in Newport, ate at Mo's, explored the tide pools with Nancy Odenthal (who William wanted to go home with) at Yaquina Head with a -1.0 tide at 7:30 this morning. Can't wait to go back again!
